ZHANG Xiwu, Chairman
aged 50, now the Chairman and Secretary of CPC
Leadership Group of Shenhua Group Corporation
Limited. He is also serving as an executive
director and Chairman of the Board at China
Shenhua Energy Company Limited. Previously,
he served as Member of CPC Party Leadership
Group, President and Director of Shenhua Group,
Vice President of Shenhua Group, Chairman, Member
of CPC Committee and General Manager of Shenhua
Shendong Coal Company, Chairman and Standing
Member of CPC Committee of Shenhua Dongsheng
Coal Company, General Manager of the Fine Coal
Business Department of Shenhua Group. Mr. Zhang
was Member of CPC Leadership Group and Deputy
Chief of the Bureau of Coal Industry of Jilin
Province and Deputy General Manager of the Northeast
Inner Mongolia Coal Group Company. Earlier,
Mr. Zhang also worked as First Deputy Mine Head,
Mine Head, and Assistant Bureau Chief respectively
when he was in Dayan Coal Mining Bureau, Inner
Mongolia. He has obtained a Doctoral Degree
in Engineering and now is a research fellow.

Zhang Yuzhuo, Director
aged 46, now the Member of CPC Leadership Group,
President and Director of Shenhua Group Corporation
Limited. He is also the non-executive director
of China Shenhua. Previously, he served as Vice
President of Shenhua Group, Assistant President,
Vice President, President and Deputy Party Secretary
of CPC Committee of China Coal Research Institute,
Deputy Director of Beijing Mining Research Institute
of CCRI. He conducted post-doctoral research
in the Department of Mining and Environmental
Engineering, Southern Illinois University Carbondale,
US and the University of Southampton, UK. Prior
to that, He worked as Deputy Director of the
Research Office in Beijing Mining Research Institute,
CCRI. He is a research fellow and has received
a Doctoral Degree in Engineering.

Liu Benren
aged 67, has served as Independent Director
of Shenhua Group. He is now the member of Chinese
People’s Political Consultative Conference.From
1993-2004 he served as General Manager of Wuhan
Iron and Steel Corporation. Also he was Director
of Production Department of Wuhan Iron and Steel
Factory,and Vce Chief Engineer of Wuhan Iron
& Steel Corporation. Mr. Liu graduated from
Wuhan Iron and Steel University with a bachelor’s
degree in 1965, and graduated from Party School
of the Central Committee of CPC with a master's
degree in 1986.

Zhang Hongli
aged 43, has served as Independent Director
of Shenhua Group. Now he has held President
of Asian-pacific Region and Chairman of Deutsche
Bank (China). Previously he served as President
of Greater China of Deutsche Bank, Executive
Director of Goldman Sachs (Asia), Director and
Business Manager of Schroders Private Limited
Company (Hongkong), Financial Manager of Hewlett-Packard,
Foreign Secretary of HLJ August First Land Reclamation
University. Mr. Zhang graduated from HLJ August
First Land Reclamation University with a bachelor’s
degree in genetics in 1981, graduated from University
of Alberta with a master’s degree in biological
science in 1989, and graduated from University
of Santa Clara with a MBA in 1991.

Zhou Deqiang
aged 67, has served as Independent Director
of Shenhua Group. Previously he served as General
Manager of China Telecom, Deputy Minister of
Ministry of Information Industry, Deputy Minister
of Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications,
and Director of Anhui Telecommunication Administration.
He graduated from Nanjing University of Posts
and Telecommunications with a bachelor's degree
in telecommunication engineering in 1968. |

aged 66, has served as Independent Director
of Shenhua Group. Previously he served as Vice
General Manager of State Grid, Chief Economist
of State Grid, Director of General Office of
Ministry of Electricity, Vice Director of Huazhong
Power Administration Bureau, Vice Director of
Audit Office of Ministry of Energy, and Vice
Director of Power and Industry Bureau of Hunan
Province. He is now the member of Chinese People’s
Political Consultative Conference. |

Chen Shende
aged 54, has served as Independent Director
of Shenhua Group. Mr. Chen is now the General
Manager of Asia Financial Holdings Pte Ltd.
Previously he served as General Manager of China
Trust Group and Director of Citi Bank Taiwan
Region. He graduated from National Chengchi
University with a bachelor’s degree in 1977,
and graduated from University of Missouri with
a master's degree in corporate governance in
1980.

Gao Ruibin
aged 48, has served as Independent Director
of Shenhua Group. He is now the President of
Motorola China. Previously he worked at AT&T
Bell Laboratory, and he started his career in
Motorola in 2000. Mr. Gao graduated from Tamkang
University with a bachelor's degree in computer
science, graduated from University of Delaware
with a master's degree in computer and information
science, and graduated from Hongkong Polytechnic
University with a doctor’s degree.

aged 47, has served as Employee Director. Mr.
Shu is also Chief Engineer of Shenhua CTL Research
Center. Previously he served as Technician of
CTL Department of Shenhua Group, Vice Director
of Beijing CTL Center of China Coal Research
Center. He graduated from Hangzhou University
with a bachelor's Degree in 1982 and from China
Coal Research Academy with a master's degree
in coal chemicals in 1985.
