By building Shenhua Group with high quality and efficiency we aim to change our way of development. We will try to strike a balance among speed, quality, structure and efficiency of our development, so as to attain a fast and sound development. In order to do that, we will focus on adjustment of our production mix; pursue a strategy of internal development by intensive production and operation, and scientific management.

By increasing production, strengthening marketing and saving resources, Shenhua Group’s profit increased to RMB 25.6 billion, among which: coal segment RMB 13.13 billion, accounting for 51% of the total; transportation segment RMB 7.16 billion, accounting for 28%; power segment RMB 4.76 billion, accounting for 18.6%; other branches and subsidiaries RMB 0.55 billion. Among our 35 branches and subsidiaries: Coal Sales Center, Shendong branch, Shuohuang Railway Branch, Shenshuo Railway Branch, Guohua Power Branch and Zhunge’er Energy made a profit of over RMB 1 billion respectively and a total profit of RMB 23.4 billion, accounting for 91% of the total. Guohua Energy Investment, Shenhua Financial, Huanghua Harbor, Shenhua Rolling Stock Branch, Baoshen Railway Company, Shenhua Wanly Branch Section 1, Haibowan branch, Shenbao branch, Shendong power Shenhua International Trade Company, and other two companies made a profit of over RMB 100 million respectively, and a total profit of 1.86 million.
