Strategic Principle of Talent Development: Priority must be given to the development of talent as "Talent resources are the primary resources among all" Priority must be given to the investment on the talents as "Talent investment is the best Benefiting Investment" Priority must be given to selection of talents following the scientific development requirements of Shenhua under the principle of "Democracy, Openness, Competition and Selection Preferred" Priority must be given to high-end talent cultivations under the guidance of “Value Investment Philosophy”.
Objective of Shenhua’s Talent Development Strategy: Build up a first-class talent team in the energy sector.
With efforts in three to five years, a talent team of moderate scale, high quality, rational structure and is able to guide and Shenhua toward a global leading diversified energy enterprise is anticipated, of which 20% are supposed to have educational qualifications of Bachelor Degree or above and 15% are supposed to have professional titles of Intermediate level or above.
With efforts in three to five years, great importance will be attached to train a number of excellent entrepreneurs with high operation and management levels and strong market development abilities, a number of leading scientific and technological personnel with domestically and internationally leading capacities as outstanding technical and engineering roadblock solvers; and a great number of high-end technical talents with consummate and unique skills.
With efforts in three to five years, scientific talent mechanisms with Shenhua characteristics will be established; institutional framework environments that are favorable for the growths of Shenhua staff will be formed; a complete set of effective methods and means will be worked out on the principle of "Talents Guided by the CPC" under SOE systems with Chinese characteristics; and the sustainable and healthy development in Shenhua’s talent cultivation will be maintained.
