Shenhua Group has attached utmost
importance to safety. We take safety as the basic
guideline in our operation, “Four upholds and
four strength” as cornerstone,
improving safety awareness as channel and risk
management as measure in our safety management.
We put safety first throughout the feasibility
study, detailed design, construction and production,
operation and management of our projects;
pursue a harmonious unification of our employees,
equipments, materials, environment and management.
The fatality rate per million tons coal production
of Shenhua Group was 0.064, maintaining an outstanding
performance on work
safety.
29 out of 35 branches and subsidiaries had zero
fatality rate. 40 coal mines achieved safe performance.
Shenhua Haibowan Coal Mining Company attained
safe operation for 3 years in a row. The fatality
rate per million tons coal production for Shendong
branch was 0.026. Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry
(Group) Corporation achieved bestmanagement, and
set a new record in safe operation.
Our four dedicated railways avoided time-lost
injuries; Huanghua Harbor and Tianjin Coal Dock
avoided material shipping accident; 28 operating
power plants avoided time-lost injuries. |
