Coal liquefaction segment |

DCL project:Great efforts has been made on
the construction of the DCL project. Exerting
our intelligence and solving all kinds of
problems, we ensured on-time delivery of super
large equipment, successful installation of
over-sized equipment and completion of civil
engineering for the overall framework. We
have finished civil engineering and made major
progress in the equipment installation ensued,
such as successful installation of CTL reactor,
gasifier and hydrogen reactor. The coal silo
has been completed and external water supply
system has been finished. We have finished
the detailed design of each phase and each
part of the project, and we have finished
purchasing of key equipment, large batches
of material, electronics and meters. Over
80% of the equipment and most of the pipelines
and electronic material are ready on site.
The project HSE, as well as its quality, progress
and cost are all in control. The investment
for the year stood at RMB 436.9 million. Since
the kick off the construction, the accumulative
investment has reached RMB 763.9 million and
75.17% of the construction has been completed,
following our timetable.

Coal chemicals project: All the civil engineering
and most of the installation has been completed
for the Shenhua Ningxia Coal (Group) Industry
Corporation methanol project with a capacity
of250 thousand tons per year, and the 220-ton
boiler passed commissioning. The major part
of civil engineering has been completed for
the supporting DME project with a capacity of
210 thousand tons per year. Negotiation on introducing
patent and overall engineering design has been
completed for the olefins project with a capacity
of 520 thousand tons per year, and its construction
commenced. The coal to olefins project in Baotou
has been proved by related governmental authorities
and is in progress. The phase 1 of Wuhai coal
tar processing project with a capacity of 300
thousand tons per year has commenced trail operation.
Shenhua Group is
actively negotiating with Sasol and continues
to push forward the feasibility study on ICL
projects in Shenhua Ningxia Coal (Group) Industry
Corporation and Shaanxi. After rounds of negotiations
with Dow Chemicals, we optimized the prefeasibility
study of our Yulin coal chemicals project. We
signed agreement on feasibility study with Shell
on Shenhua Ningxia Coal (Group) Industry Corporation
ICL projects, and initiated related preparations.
Preparatory works have also been carried out
to coal chemicals projects in Xinjiang, Hulunbeier
and Tongliao. Basic engineering design has been
completed for Shenhua ¡°829¡± project. |
